bias pedal box options & opinions please
looking for a pedal box for the new track toy build and would like to know what some of you guys are running?
i am going to use floor mounted this time for ease of fitment and maintenance so not interested in bulkhead mounted options,
has anybody tried and tested the new OBP boxes as they seem good value for money but ive yet to find anybody using one???
if not how about the tilton 600 series?
opinions please
budget for 3 pedal hyd clutch bias box aound 500 exc cylinders

Luca has just bought one of these I think, and so has Rich from Redline Magazine, and I plan too as well. Think I started a thread on these quite a few months back, or brought them up in another thread about bias pedal boxes.
I wouldn't mind more feedback myself on how people are finding them.

To me a lot of the floor mounted pedal boxes depend on the seating position.
Ideal in a single seater type race car where your legs are out stretched but not so good in a saloon car with a close seat position where the angle of your foot means you coud do with a new U/J in the ankle area lol.
Operation is basically the same on all ie pedal ratio pushes balance bar pushes push rod operates master cylinder shifts fluid.
Just space and ease of fittment are ideal for some people and not others.
Most of the components in both of the ones mentioned above come from the same source
They do work if you can get a comfortable position with them that sometimes means building a false floor or a box under the floor to drop it down into, so your basically just left with the pedals for your feet to dance on.

Alright Mark,
I have my preorder in for the new Tilton 600 series pedal box, has lots of the benefits on 900 series without the price tag
Bruce Chambers at competition supplies is the man to speak to if you're interested? I met him at the Autosport show in January

Cheers tony,
it will be fitted in car with me and my seating position to suit along with steering wheel etc so positioning will be perfect using false floor or whatever is needed,
Nath - what's the price of the pedal box with or without cylinders? Pm if you want
thanks
