Shouldn't be too much of a problem, but I would personally not run anything lower than 30mm, as the handling just deteriarates imo. I run 17"s dropped 25mm (although sits lower it seems ) with no arch mods and it used to catch on on side with 2 people in the car, got round that by fitting spring assistors and jobs a goodun

As above. I wouldn't suggest 50mm lowering. Not only that, the Koni's aren't really up to that amount.

mine is sitting on 17 x 7.5s with 205/40s with 40mm
drop onj koni adjustables, all 4 arches have been ground down
and i still scrape even when im on my own on back if i hit a
bump or manhole cover at speed, its really pissing me of so
atandard wheels may be going back on or swap springs for 25mm
ones but i like it as it is.
im open to suggestions.

That looks the nuts.

Why anyone would want to lower an RST any more than 25-30mm is beyond me. OK, so they do look good slammed, but they are shite to drive. Also, unless you have special dampers that are designed to take that kind of lowering, they will bottom out and eventually leak.

Also, 7.5x17" wheels are too big. I used to have 7x17" ET35 and thats the limit as far as I would suggest. Even with those wheels and 30mm lowered, it used to hit the arches too often for me.

60 mm lowering springs. the front struts have been modified where they go into the hub so as they now sit 10mm proud of the underside of the hub. still has clearance at cv boot. might not be to everyone's liking but it does work. couldnt justify the price of coilovers when i was doing the suspension.

truly stunning car mate. looks lower than mine. i might change suspension to summit of better quality. just using g-max just now to keep it mobile but not really stiff enough. would like coil overs but dont think u get them for the back. could make them i suppose.!!does your wheels rub anywhere? mine rub on arch where it meets bumper. cant trim anymore as nothing left to trim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
