Is straightening the roof out going to be a problem ?

Honestly fella, i really can't believe how straight the car looks considering the other pics of the damage to the side, it really is a testament to how well you built the car.

Default hi

hello andy i am realy glad that you are ok and your not hurt bad.
i never even new this had happened til harvey told me . i tried to find you before we left at 3pm to catch the boat.
the first photo of the car looked quite bad , but after seeing the old pannels of it, it dont look bad at all , it will be no problems to you to fix this , i no that for sure.

i want to thank you and a mean thank you very much for the passanger ride in the car today , i will never for get it .
the car is so fast i dont no how to explaine it. and the way it handled its like there was a railway track and the car was planted to it.
you and charlie shaw are good crack (total headers but in a cool way) i loved the bit where you said wate til you see this and you slowed of, let charlie past and charlie started to drift at every corner..

i will look forwards to my next passenger ride in this car andy

thanks steven...

Gutted by this accident as this is an awesome car but the main thing is that the driver is okay.

Glad no-one got seriously hurt and I'm looking forward to seeing this car back on track in the future.

Piss poor attempt at copying Massa's high speed crash into a wall Andy (only messin' )

Glad you were o.k. and had a chance to chat with you before it all happened. Great that you're still optimistic about the build

With an Imact speed of 86MPH Iwould say your a lucky man all things considered Andy.

Seems your guardian angel can indeed fly at in excess of 113.

Thought you were shifting a bit when it went onto the grass, You've come out of it pretty well considering! Car dont look too bad either mate when I saw it on the trailer just after I thought the full car was kinked cos the front screen frame looked twisted but glad to here it's all ok

Imagine the same sort of incident in something like a mk4 rst, it'll have been a hell of a different story!

Any injuries Andy or just a bit sore?

Completely off topic, but what your Dad's name?
I remember reading that he used to do rallying, as did my dad, and he thinks he knows of him but cant think of his first name!

Nope, I thought it was bad that people were cheering at the fact he crashed. Spose you always get these types of people wherever...unfortunately

When we came up behind the puma it wasnt long before the red flag was out, so she never tried to overtake it, but yes im sure you are right that my massive 14 stone 12 weight would have cancelled out all 711bhp of the car

He won the pro drag shootout.

His best time was 9.51 @ 147mph, with a 1.56 60ft

Looking at the 2 screens of data you got from your car makes me realize what a f**king awesome piece of kit this car is. Being a welder/fabricator myself, its not so much the quality of the work that impresses me(even thought it does) but the design of the car, you certainly have a good head on you shoulders.
