Thats what ive always thought(even though ive never been) i guess its just standing there with a crowd of people, and every 1:10- 1:30 the field comes past, and thats it for another minute or so.

I love BTCC though so id still probably enjoy it looking at the cars close up etc

Yeah thats pretty much how it was. And snetterton is pretty crap for viewing with the amount of people that were there today. It was cool to look around the cars, that was the best bit. And to actually hear them as well, they sound alot better in real life. There was an amazing aston martin db5 which i think was in the classic salloons or something. the body work on it was amazing, it was such a beautiful car. cant believe it was actually a race car.

I much prefer going in person although you don't get all the info that TV gives you.

Can't beat the atmosphere at my local (Knockhill) and I've been to Brands Hatch this year already, what a great track that is.

Always wondered if those porsche cup cars are faster or slower round a track than the BTCC cars? they look damn quick and always very fast off the start line.

I know there something like 400bhp and the BTCC cars are 300bhp but there lighter.

Noting lap times could work, but i forgot to check that

James Nash has been disqualified from Race 3, so Turkington is now the winner.

Was 95% certain that would happen. Really classy drive though apart from the incident, well impressed with him.

Have a look here

Porsches were about 4 seconds a lap quicker than the BTCC cars
