whilst manicly trying to get the car ready for sunday after beeing in storage for eternity
it caught fire whilst i was welding and bubbled my paintwork on my rear quater

absolutley gutted
managed to get all the work done though should be ticked hopefully taxed for the ford fair

Lucky you got away with only a bit of bubbled paint. Cars go up in flames so fast, just ask lee on here!

I remember Tony C off here doing some welding on my battery tray on an old RST, I was in the passenger footwell looking up and constantly shouting "HANG ON!!!!" while I sprayed water onto the fire guard...

Happy times...

 

well it turned out i had a little more welding to do than i originaly thought

but its going in the body shop tomorrow to have the rear end blown in for national day then im going to bear shell it over the winter and fully rebuild

then its on with the 3dr project!
