Car Scrappage Scheme Q.
A friend of mine has an old mk3 fiesta, it hasn't been moved for over a yr and is generally fooked.
He wants to trade it for a new car as his son as just passed his test.
So i have a couple of questions
As the car dont move can the car be towed to the dealers?
Does the car need M.O.T & Tax?

no more Granada's for me
you have to have owned the car for a year and it has to have a certain amount of mot, not sure how much but I know ya can't take a car in with 1 weeks mot and get that deal.. the scrappage deal runs out in march 2010, or when the money has ran out, the gov only allocated a certain amount and when its gone its gone.

The govt etc will know people are desperate to get an mot to get this scrappage deal, so would expect the cars to be looked at to some extent.
