I must say that Balck Diamond discs, Ferodo DSP pads, dot 5.1 and stainless hoses have worked well to date, but I know now that AP's and 330 discs are now a must. I did'nt realise the kind of reaction we had created today, it has been mind blowing! But there again, it isn't every day you break a record that Rod has held for this long. I have prayed for dry weather for the last two months that we have tried to arrange this but this was the best that we had so we did our best and it did the job. :

So what was the aero-dynamic state of the car on the run? Seem taped at the front etc?
Never though that would make a difference. But on Rainbirds first run to 180 we had to remove the wing mirrors.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Also this car did not have the 4wd bonnet and under tray which would add about 1+mph to the topspeed at brunters, Due to the drag redution.

My plans are interesting re "mods"...been speaking to a very interesting person about little tweaks here and there to acheive more MPH.....i may have to use you Mark to do a run as maybe Rainbird has too little experience
