They are 1.5mm. I know. And i know U wont have a problem with the block. From what u've said, u seem to be going into this engine build a little blind folded. Burton will not tell u how much to take off the top. What compression ratio have u specced the engine to? If u want 225 bhp, why bother with forged pistons and the increased problems they bring?

Cosworth pistons are the best. But, the std rods need changing before u change to cosworth pistons, as std pistons will do over 250hp. Forged pistons are noisey when cold, and wear the block quicker. If all u want is 225 hp, then a std engine with stage 3 head and stage 2 turbo will do it no problem. Ask the engine builder what compression ratio u want (i'd advise 8:1) and then u can work out what to do with the pistons. Also, i need to have ur head CC'd.
