Grippers are meant to be terrible on the road.

Get the quaife.

I have a quaife (Bruce Reeds Old one which he never fitted. Got it brand new from him).

Done one track day with it fitted, and to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between the quaife and the original diff..............Except, the quaife don't have planet wheels, and therefore don't break.

Mike Rainbird ran one for years on his big bhp sapphire, and did more standing starts than most people, and more top speed runs than most. Lasted him ok

Jesus Jim - how could you NOT tell the difference?!

To cut this post short, the following will happen.

Marco and Mark will say Gripper, lots of others will say Quaife.

None of them will be supplying or fitting your diff, so I would say pick up the phone to Bernie, and follow his advice.

For Gripper speak to Tom Seal @ Coventry Automotive

Only problem i have had with mine is its noisy but some are ok, i think mine may be set up for track and not for the road.

Probably coz I was driving like a pussy.

Was leaving the country the next day for another four month stint oversea's and didn't want anything to go wrong. Hence taking it easy, or driving like a pussy as some would say.

No, never got it sideways ........ That scrubs off speed.
