Default Hoover help!!

I'm in need of some hoover help here! I have a Cat & Dog Miele hoover. Well just been hoovering and the thing stopped. The red 'on' light was still showing but the hoover was very hot......checked the bag and its full up, as in bulging at the seems full! I have left it for 20 mins, went to turn it back on, the red 'on' light shows but hoover does not start......no smell of burning though

The motor might have a thermal cut-out, leave it a while longer.

Dysons have no loss of suction though, unlike a bag.....

I can't believe your hoover is a 'him'.....

Tried a few Dyson's from John Lewis as you can 'Try before you buy'. Found the Miele Cat & Dog to be heaps better than the rest in its class at Ł200-220. The better one though is the Sebo, its a German hoover but only comes in an upright. I took my Miele to bits and found on the board there was a break so soldered it and it works fine now

seeing as no ones pointing out the obvious here "hoover" is a brand name, what you are discussing here is a range of "vacuum cleaners"

but don't worry, we hoober with a dyson too

anyway, your problem might be that the bag is full and has cut out until you either empty it or replace it with a new one got the same problem with the k'archer i've got

They did a demonstration with some salt, poured a load on the floor and went over it with our hoover (which actually was a hoover, Dojj), then over it again with the kirby. Needless to say it found more salt....

Fuck paying that much though!

we get them sales peeps round to "demonstrate" every once in a while and see just how clean they can make one of our carpets

we are always very impressed at how clean they come out, but unfortuantly we are not currently in the market for that sort of thing
