oh yeah, i agree, lots of them have

dont worry about the cosmetics so much; check for rotten chassis legs, poor previous repairs, inner wings, sills

if you do a search this sort of thing about what to look for has been covered a fair bit

good luck
Matt

And he wont get what he wants for the shell for the same reason, He should use it to do his mk1 really.

if the owner who smashed it, buys it back off the insurance he would still have the history when he sold it

I was going to say as this is only 10 miles max away from me and I dont mind for a PF member in going and having a nosey and taking more pics,BUT imo its to much money being listed to start with and I too saw the original ad of removing the flint.Didnt he buy two or something ?.I am no expert but have been around cars all my life (old man trader,60plus cars of my own and I rebuilt a sapphire years ago) I have a good idea where to look chassis legs, seat mounts, wheel well, strut tops, arches, doors, rear panel, spoiler mount middle, inner sills. He may tell me to fook off taking pics of the underside but then thats his loss and just for you I will leave in a puff of tyre smoke from my 2wd (maybe more coming from the exhaust) but I dont care Disclaimer, stoke is closer to Stone than scunny but viewing yourself is better

would you be interested in a white 2wd saff? same spec as this one, clean original car, 346 bhp, leathers, t34, 24psi boost, 17 inch alloys with 4 new tyres. mechanically sound, used as daily runner for 2 years, owned for 4 years by careful owner. just in need of a little attention to bodywork, being as its a 20 year old FORD! looking for around Ł3400 ovno as it is. may include some spares.

If the previous owner bought the car back yes or if the new buyer chased the old one then wht not.

My mate wrote his car off and still got history if someone chased him for it i am sure he would give it up for a drink.
