Default tuning options/packages for the new RS

Just curious as to how much development or progress tuners have made with the new RS. Whats available, what power are they getting out of them etc?

I say wait and go for the Official Tuning Package from Mountune. I think it'll be better value and not void your warranty.

Sorry mate but have you seen what the Mountune ST260 kit for the ST did to the GGR ST300 kit??? The Mountune pissed all over it. The problem with certain tuning companies is that they develop high power kits but don't develop the power over the rev range. The GGR ST300 kit has most of its power all the way at the top of the Rev Range which is hardly useful seeing as you got to be at the top of the Revs to use the power.

The Mountune kits are developed along side Ford and are developed to deliver the power across the entire rev range. I rather pay a few bob extra and have the power the moment i put my foot down then save a few hundred quid to watch a car with just 260bhp piss all over my 300bhp.

Main thing is who has the bigger wad of cash to spend on developments like this. And again i'd go with whatever Ford develop as they know what the engine is capable of more than anyone else. And they'll also have better knowledge on how to get the power in the exact place it should be on the Rev Range.

Thats cool and your Opinion. And i do know Mountune aren't Ford. However the funding to get the best out of the power out of the engine in the right points of the Rev Range will be better coming from a Kit developed along side Ford. My Opinion.
