Carpets the way foward, ive got oat meal in mine, looked lovley untill the escort cossie dumped its guts on it

Neil A - you obviously havnt done enough "work", I tried lino once.
Oil, water and size 14 steel toe cap boots are not a good combo...
cant find a decent pic, will hunt one out.
Ive got the car area, a wash sink, kettle,toasted and george forman. and heating.
then a work bench area, with everything from compressor to 10mm spanner, will dig out pics.
In middle is a 7x3 pit with electrics and fluressents- best thing ive done!!!!!!!!!

The only reason i have a carpeted garage is because when we moved in the whole house bar kitchen and bathrooms had that carpet!!!!
We removed it from everywhere bar our room and stairs so far.
I really dont know why the folk had that colour everywhere. Must have been a good deal

.You must agree carpet is one of the best gararge "mods" you can do!

I want to expand it sideways another 0.75 metre as that will make a massive difference to the working space around the car. Its just doable under revised planning rules without any planning permission as it will lie within the 75% rule.
From the outside you can see the front wall is already wide enough and id only loose the border in the rear yard.
