This afternoon on my way home from work I stopped at the supermarket, nosed around the shop a bit, bought what I wanted then left. As I was walking out of the shop i saw staff & security guards flying out of the shop and up the car park towards my car

On closer inspection I found this That's a member of staff empting the stuff out of the Polish guys car



3 Polish guys had loaded a trolley to the top and decided to leave the shop without paying for their shopping It was so obvious that they hadn't paid for any of it because it wasn't bagged up and it was just like the trolley had been filled up on the way around

I stood by my car watching what was going on and then the guy in the red t-shirt made a run for it and so did one of his mates The staff and security went flying after them while one security guard waited with one of them waiting for the Police to arrive. After about 5 minutes the Police arrive with a member of shop staff in the front and one of the Polish lads in the back

Over the radio I heard the direction the other one had gone so I offered to take the security guard down there to look for the guy but they weren't interested so I decided to go and find him myself The guy hadn't got too far and I soon found him, he had removed his t-shirt and was wearing a hat but it wasn't fooling me so I waited in a lay-by watching him coming down the street and gave the Police a running commentary as to his whereabouts until they arrived and put him in cuffs

It was great to see that they caught all 3 of them, I feel a bit guilty getting involved but I wasn't going to let him get away with running away like that

See why my wife doesn't allow me to go shopping with her!

It's much easier to call someone a grass than to actually track down a criminal and track them whilst informing the police but it's honestly nothing to be proud of

I've only done this once before and that was because I saw 2 girls emptying a stolen charity collection box and head off to a cafe in Windsor to spend the proceeds Luckiy I did the same and they were caught red handed.

I hate this shit but sometimes it's too wrong to ignore it Doesn't make you proud but at least you did the right thing and at least people appreciate that It wasn't easy doing it and I could have just gone home
