i havent checked the battery tray yet to be honest.

The car isnt in somerset yet, needs an ID first, so have to be in the new year instead now mate.

Yeah i will get some pics up when its on the road mate.
Im well happy with it, i quite like Q plates, adds an air of mystery, they are only a problem when it comes to seeling it

the mini is my main money pit.
trouble is ive already bought the:
custom forged pistons
steel rods
steel crank
management
head
etc etc
and the block is just being line bored etc so everything is perfect for 500bhp.
Starting from scratch now with the cossie would make no sense, plus its TWICE as heavy, so the mini will be far more fun
The mini should hit the 10s anyway, although it might not manage it on road tyres sadly.

Pretty much par for the course for me though, i always make a reaction on birds one way or the other, if you dont end up with either a drink or a pussy on your head then you obvioulsy havent tried hard enough.

I pop on there occasionally mate, but not often, not many of the "old skool" left now.
I got the 3 door cause ive always wanted one and this was the first time one came up at a price that made it justifiable without having to get rid of the novas or minis.
Im going to take it up to about 330-350bhp, add a nitrous kit, and just leave it at that, cant be doing with any more "projects" at the moment, might revisit it at a later date and go a bit mental with it though

The mini still has a 1800 8v in it at the moment, which is a temp measure just to get it up and running before swapping over to the new engine as i dont want to get issues with driveshafts or something when the car is sat on the rollers so i just put the first big block motor i could lay my hands on in it.
