after some info, i have been looking to get poly carbonate windows for my 3 door and was all set to get a set from plastics 4 performance, but finances are running very low at the moment

i have spoke to somebody and they have told me they can get lexan,

has anybody got any pictures of race cars with lexan windows so i can compare?

lexan, i believe is the stuff used on fighter jet planes canopies... it is VERY hard wearing and tough! would be surprised if it costs less that polycarbonate... although not used it much at all so dont know prices...

lexan is what the top fuel dragsters use as a windscreen very tuff very light but not cheap

It's also very flexible if you plan to use it in opening windows when driving at any reasonable speed.

Get the plastics4performance windows but get the margard version mate, awesome, tough ,fuel and oil resistant and does not scratch, I had a few different types of windows and that was best by miles

thats what i was planning to get mate, but funds are seriously low, i gathered if i get these lexan ones cheaper they will get me buy for now until i get more money together, thats pretty much all thats left on the car to make it road worthy, i just want it on the road now so i can get a few miles on it
