As RobS said, if used as a everyday car, the sound deadening would be worth keeping in

i just got a 2.9 4x4 sierra, everything from the inside is missing, sound deadening from floor is all chipped off, right down to no headcloth!!!

the car is totally different to drive missing an interior dur to weight, i didnt think it`d bake that much difference........... but it DOES!!!!!!!

try it out mate, its the only way!

I would leave it all in there as it sounds like quite a good set up but the trouble is once you have the idea, its hard to get it out of your head

Start by taking out all the Audio gear but leaving the sound deadening in and if you decide that makes a worthwile difference only then consider doing the difficult bit.
If you use the car every day though, I don't think I'd be looking to gut it right down.

Not on the handling it won't

Stripped mine of Stereo and it makes a hell of a difference.

Suppose it depends whether you are gonna track it or not.

Got mine booked in for the Beds track day on Feb 19th, stripped mine and ordered my 6 point safety devices cage with the door bars an all.

Will be ready at the beginning of Jan, can't wait.
Stripping the stereo out I was surprised on how much it all weighs let alone all the rear interior
