Default Air compressors on track days

As im going to racing in stock hatch this year im going to need to use my compressor and air tools for quick repairs etc.

what the biggest compressor i can use with what generator?

what do you guys use?

dont most pit gargaes have plug sockets?

i use a big comp off a 6.5hp geni and it struggles on start up but is fine once going

you dont really need a big compressor just a big receiver will do, we use a small portable comp with two cylinders under the van normally.

if no power available stu just check what wattage/power your compressor is and get a generator with a few hundred more watts of power than that

ive got a 3hp compressor, with a 25l receiver tank runs perfect off a 3.5hp 2.3kva genny along with a few floodlights if you use the right lighting.
on the receiver tank side i have a 46kg propane bottle with a drain tapped in the bottom and a strange regulator set up at home, and a smaller ~10kg bottle for out and about.

with Stock hatch , you will NOT have garages !
