I thought that. It should really be classed as 2wd only.

I can see why they have done it. it cheaper to make a 300bhp turbo engine that a N/A 300 bhp engine.

a lot of cars have 2.0 turbo egines which just need a chip and they are 300 bhp.

ooooo except FORD lol

This is a step forwards but they still need to do more.

Fwd or Rwd so atleast theres a bit of a difference[the only interesting bit of BTCC at the min is the BMW's vrs the FWD lot]
350bhp but they can have that anyway they wish, so 4pot turbo, 5pot Turbo, V6, V8.
Then i think they should have to revert back to a H pattern gear box, makes for more driver errors and also saves on costs a massive amount.

Thats my feelings on it but they will never do it.

Meaning the richest team will win, the smaller teams wont be able to afford to be competitive and the sport will die

I remember Matt Neal getting into Touring Cars and his dads garage funding his drives in a competitive car.......he's from my home town, which isnt that big, and there is no way he'd have been able to do that in an 'unlimited power' formula

I agree, plus limiting the power output makes for closer racing that is better to watch.
