refund 1p and it will clear the funds

All the buyer has to do is says its not as described or it never arrived

Paypal always side with the buyer and not the seller

I've just had something similar. I've just sold an engine to a guy, he wants it sent to his mates garage in London. The payment is showing in my account but the funds aren't actually there (shows no money if I try to withdraw it) and Paypal have send me a message saying don't send it until I receive conformation of the payment.

It's something to do with the fact he's foreign (from Turkey). I can smell a scam of some sort happening.

I wouldnt send it to any address that isnt listed on the paypal address cause then you dont have a leg to stand on if the guy who apparenly says its his mates address isnt actually his mate and is the guy using someone else account and getting delivered to his own address.

I had this problem with a phone once. Stupidly i sent it to a address i was asked to send it too and it turned out someone hacked a guys ebay and paypal and bought it and paypal said it was my fault because i didnt send it to verified address and they took money back from me and gave it to the guy whos account was hacked.
