Had a few liberty takers on my drive lately but didn't know who they were... Maybe next time will be different.

Looks a good set-up, nice and clear too. Might be an idea to fit one of those poles that sinks into the ground and you pull it up and lock it in place. No one's going to be driving anything off the drive with one of them in place. Well, at least not without making a load of noise anyway.

anti ram posts are a fairly easy fit and are going to me difficult to kock over as opposed to the gate which might get ram raided
might be worth getting 2 sunk in at the same time as the gates then
looks good though what system is it? i'm after one myself so something like that looks just right for the job

I used to help my Dad do security cameras when I was a kid, and we did all sorts from haulage yards to gyms, and I must say that night vision is on another level.

not ideal for driveways, but if you have any side access you can get these tripwire things that are hooked up to blank shotgun cartrages at head height.
they of course make the same loud bang and will stun an intruder while you wakeup and leg it out with a bat.
just dont forget they are there when putting the bins out
have you seen the vid of manc city centre i think it was, when some bint tried to follow a bus through a no traffic road, there was a bollard on a hydraulic ram that immobilised the car, maybe you need one of those too?
or just get warren penalver as a lodger lol, he'd see the fuckers off

No problem Martin. I'm glad I could help.
One feature that Martin hasn't mentioned that if he is anywhere in the world and has an internet connection he can not only watch live video from the cams but also watch recorded video as well.
For those of you who are thinking about getting CCTV don't buy it from places like Argos or B&Q as these systems are crap.
Good quality CCTV has come down in price and you will be suprised at what kind of money you can have a good quality CCTV system for if you go the DIY route.
www.y3k.com is where I got Martin's cams from. They do sell to the public but you get a better price if you have a trade account with them like I have.
The DVR used on Martin's system is a http://www.dvr365.com/ but this is only available from trade only suppliers.
