Default E36 M3

Do these have traction control, or a stability program which can be turned off? I drove a 325 last week, and it had some sort of ESP that couldn't be turned off.

E36 M3 does not have traction control as far as I am aware. Nor ESP.

Cheers

Lol a standard BMW diff can't cost that much surely? I'd just buy a reconditioned one.

you gotta remember tho mate there aint many m3 evos being sold for spare mate so prices will be a lot more expensive.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/M3-Limited-Sli...3A1%7C294%3A50

thats the price of a second hand diff. I personally would have to buy a brand new one mate as you dont know how these parts have been used in the past. That way if you have a brand new diff fited n it goes wrong you got some fall back mate

the cost of parts is not unreasonable for a car of this performance level. just because the cars themselves depreciate doesnt meen the maintenence costs do

Thanks for the info.

Have you driven an Evo? If so, how did it compare to yours? Would it be worth spending the extra to get an Evo?

Cheers. I think I spent somewhere in the region of Ł400 on a rear diff for my Impreza from RCM. Thanks for the info though, I'll listen out for the diff if I go and view one.

imho they are very over-rated cars, not as quick as they should be

most prices of parts are fine but things like the price oil is a joke again all imho
