I've had both on mine and tbh it makes not a lot of difference
As for the tuner i've had no issues and all of the cars i've done have made the numbers(other than mine lol!!)
saff on greens 347bhp
escos on greens 344bhp
and mine was 331bhp with 109k on it
on greens
tbh Steve its just ur not holding enough boost imo

did the rollers show up any problems other than a bit low on boost?
Tbh i've never liked light blues always went for greys but i've now done a few with 55lb siemens and they were cracking
As long as your holding the correct amount of boost then theres a problem
Paul
Boost matches my old graphs almost spot on, if anything it was holding a tiny amount more boost higher up than it used to.

Out of interest, what boost IS it holding at peak power and what power was it at this lower boost reading?

The car used to make between 367bhp and 371bhp and between 351lb/ft and 356lb/ft on my old chip peaking at about 25.6psi and falling to about 20.5psi at the limiter (6700rpm) where it made peak power. The above figures are for a DD RR and a Dastek RR.
It has since been on 2 different DD RRs since your software was fitted and made between 315bhp and 330bhp and between 290lb/ft and 308lb/ft.
Peak boost was only showing as 23psi (I THINK MY ACTUATOR IS WEAK) with the boost again tailing off to 20.5psi @ 6750rpm although it does hold about 1psi more from about 5500 to 6500. Peak power was still around the 6700rpm area. The rev limit is now around 7500rpm showing 19.5psi with no real fall off in power (less than 5bhp).
I have fitted another ISCV which has made my cold running a lot smoother.

So the figures we are looking a are all from THREE DIFFERENT rolling roads?
Is this the run where you put a graph up and power dropped off massively at 5000rpm but on the road you said it was absolutely fine?

.....steve fuck ur r/r print outs what's it like on the road
I would prefer to discuss this with you on the phone. I have tried calling you but got no answer. I don't want this turning into a slanging match as im booked in with you in June and want to keep our relationship on good terms, thats why i PMd you all my figures last night.

The power never dropped off just stayed constant from 5800rpm until the rev limiter. The car does keep reving and revs higher but it just don't have the pull it used to.

No intention of turning it into a slanging match mate but i have seen you regularly referring to how your fuel economy is worse and power a little less since I worked on it yet you never seem to mention that when it arrived it was running lean when it came in and had a throttle sensor fitted that didn't work making it lean globally, and knowing we have discussed this in person in some depth I cant help but feel a little short changed, given you know both these faults can lead to the missing mpg and power being discussed even if its not down to some missing boost at top end as we also suspect. We worked until 8:30 pm that night doing little jobs that the car wasn't booked in for like the DIY throttle bracket that wouldn't give full throttle and the fuel lines that needed moving as they were chaffing on the pulleys so we could send you away with a safe engine and all Ive seen from you is negative press referring to various rolling road power graphs that really cant be compared anyway.
Finally and back on topic we advised you to change your dump valve as it leaks beyond 23psi (Isnt that the boost you're now running?) and you didn't want to change it on the day. This obviously needs rectifying before you change your actuator. (This is detailed in your work report No: 20159 on page 2.)

Everything in your work report has been attended to.
You only advised me on the day that the dump valve was leaking above 23psi, in your report it states "It would be beneficial to replace this at your earliest convenience to ensure reliability"
My dump valve has now been replaced with one of Yours, this was fitted before both of my latest RR sessions.
As far as im aware my AFRs were ok from the RR graphs i have. The DD one shows the AFR leaning off to 12.2.1 @ the 6700rpm limiter, a little lean but not dangerously so.
I must admit i have no idea of what the cruise AFR was, or do you as you never tested it before working on the car.
You did have to modify my throttle bracket and secure my fuel lines which i greatly appreciate.
Also i would like to add you sorted the fuel line issues in the morning and i left at 1930.

Evening Steve,
You seem to have taken my post as a dig, it was not. I am simply pointing out that you know very well why you may have boost issues and why the car may possibly use a little more fuel than it did, yet you chose not to relay this information in your public posts. Also, on the phone to me you personally say it feels fine on the road and also say that it runs more boost on the road than it did the rollers. My advice as i sure you will recall was to either:
A) Disregard the graphs and enjoy your car.
B) Turn the boost on the road DOWN to match the RR graph and then be happy that your graph is now correct and representative of the road power.
Incidentally, we don't need to test drive a car to see if a map is any use so I'm not sure why you think i wouldn't know roughly how rich/lean it was on the road, how do you think i sell calibrations for thousands of different cars to installers worldwide? My only point was, with no WOT enrichment your map was set too lean. It needed the TPS to work and it didn't work AT ALL. So, when we fix it, and install a map that runs richer where required, you will use more fuel by default.
I am not sure what the time we fixed your pipes has to do with it?

Probably something stupid that will only take 5mins to sort.
Could my throttle bracket still be causing issues ?, Will was still not happy with it when he had modified it as best as he could.
I have a proper bracket now but have not fitted it.
