mate wants something to drive around for winter (lives in scotland) so wants a cheap 4wd smoker...

also if its fairly nippy it's an added bonus so he's after a XR4x4

budget is <1500quid

ps i did tell him to buy a cosworth 4x4 (as he's minted anyway) but he wouldn't have it... he justs wants an old smoker thats quick

seriously, there was a stolen/dumped xr4x4 turbo conversion jobber down the scrappy a few months back...

 

dont want cars that need sorting like that steve... just wants to buy it and drive it.

also any suggestions for alternative 4wd cars are welcome

i've been telling him to buy an R32 skyline for some time now (he could buy one with the change in his pocket... lol) but the silly sod says they're too big...

he much prefers his "superior" car...




i recon if i can get him driving a car with SOME degree of power (and lets be fair, 230ish bhp aint shy) he'll get hooked and buy a proper car

i wouldnt get a R32GTR unless it was far fom std, waste of a car IMO.

And people dont realise how SMALL R32GTRs really are. R33s and R34s are huge great busses, R32 aint, which is why i got one...

Whats this thread got to do with wanting a car? Isnt it about R32GTRs being no bigger than Sierras and smaller than Mondeos?
