Can you keep your eyes open for an XR4x4 Turbo...
preferably a twin turbo... but a 2.8 single will do...
mate wants something to drive around for winter (lives in scotland) so wants a cheap 4wd smoker...
also if its fairly nippy it's an added bonus so he's after a XR4x4
budget is <1500quid
if anyone sees one for sale anywhere, can you let me know please
ps i did tell him to buy a cosworth 4x4 (as he's minted anyway) but he wouldn't have it... he justs wants an old smoker thats quick

dont want cars that need sorting like that steve... just wants to buy it and drive it.
also any suggestions for alternative 4wd cars are welcome
i've been telling him to buy an R32 skyline for some time now (he could buy one with the change in his pocket... lol) but the silly sod says they're too big...
he much prefers his "superior" car...
i recon if i can get him driving a car with SOME degree of power (and lets be fair, 230ish bhp aint shy) he'll get hooked and buy a proper car

i take it by the pug that hes your hairdresser?
i wouldnt get a R32GTR unless it was far fom std, waste of a car IMO.
And people dont realise how SMALL R32GTRs really are. R33s and R34s are huge great busses, R32 aint, which is why i got one...
R32GTR-
Length 4500 mm
Width 1750 mm
Height 1350 mm
Saff Cossie-
Length- 4500mm
Width- 1700mm
Height- 1400mm
R32GTRs are same length, 5cm wider (the wider arches, lower models without the huge arches are thinner than a sierra), and 5cm lower
Everyone that sees my car always goes "bloodyhell, its small aint it" and always say its smaller than the mondeo i got, but i thought it couldnt be, but...
Mondeo
Length- 4730 mm
Width- 1810 mm
Height- 1450 mm
So sorry Russ and everyone for dissagreeing when you swore when you saw it that my car was smaller than a Mondeo and no bigger than a Sierra, as you right
R32GTRs, yea, huge cars
