cheers, was just wondering how long they would last as i thought yours were the same as mine, trying to work out how much power to go to with mine before changing them

Great dyno results with some nice numbers there. Personally I would make the car 2wd and put a 9" 3.9 (who really needs a 200mph car ?) rear diff in it and box like rods and then you may be able to enjoy the car this time. If you don't I suspect I will be reading a thread in a few weeks about broken this and that etc etc again

If you have to have it 4wd why not put a proper 8.5" front diff in it and ffd box (or even xtrac
) in it - you seem to have plenty of cash to blow, so why not do it properly instead of chancing it and having all that hassle again ?

For a trackday car for dave a rwd would be a lot less confidence inspiring than a 4wd, but Im sure he could learn to live with it, but given that helen will also be using it on track and she has utterly no rwd experience I think keeping it 4wd makes more sense, if they start breaking transmissions too often then they will then have to decide wether to spend mega bucks on a better setup, or turn the power down a little.

Engine is back home and waiting to be put in the hole
Also thanks to Mike Rainbird for the quick turnaround on the return of the sump, we needed to cut some of it to fit the R+D diff

Glad its all coming together guys!
Would love to come down and pass spanners (well, sample Helens breakfast...lol) but unfortunately I live in the 'North' and my POS Vauxhall has died
