I have a similar problem which is driving me nuts! Cold the car is very rapid and runs perfect, then it gets hot after a lap on full boost and starts misfiring around 4k and won't go any faster. Weirdly right hand coners make the problem better, left hand corners make it worse. I'm tempted to send mine to the menders for this one cos I am stumped.
Obviously this doesn't help you Twellsie but I'm interested in any ideas on what heat related causes are likely.

As the engine warms up the gap between the cranks sensor and trigger wheel changes. As another poster aludes to, turning can change the gap if the sensor is loose - i.e turning right the gap closes, turning left the gap increases causing dropped sparks and missfires.
I had the same issue on the Westfield - driving home one day it wouldn't rev past 3k - nursed it home and on inspection the bolt securing the sensor had simply vanished.

I've checked both of these on my car. CPS is tight and gapped at .8mm. Phase sensor is tight, looks brand new and is gapped at a hairline (can't remember the exact figure but very close).
On the subject of the water temp sensor I idled my car until the water temp guage was above the halfway mark then went out on track. No problem. The after one lap when the turbo got properly hot the trouble started.
Anyway, sorry Twellsie I'm hijacking your thread so I'll stop now.

If it's changing depending on which corner you take, it'll be something working just a bit loose, or chafing/shorting on some metal work.
