Does the escort gti front bumper bonnet and grill fit onto a mark 5 cabriolet?

only reason i ask is my m8 is going to b braking a escort gti soon and was thinking of puttin these on my cabiolet b4 i spray her up? any ideas?

I don't know about the fitment of the bumper, but i'm after some jacking point covers from a GTi if it's got them.

mk6 GTI bumper will not fit the mk5, people have tried and it looks cr@p

Yes they do fit, but youd need to use the Mk6 headlights to make it work. They are interchangable with a little work. It wont look factory, or will the gaps look right but in answer to your question yes, they can be made to fit

 

oh rite yea i thought idde need to do the lights aswell, yea im not bothered about it looking factory just need a new front bumper and bonnet and my m8 is bracking an gti soon so thought y not.
