seems like everyone is telling you 260 at the wheels is correct but the 346 at the fly is wrong so whatever calculation the r/r operator is doing to work out the fly figure is wrong? do you think the 346 is right and the 260 is wrong? im lost as to what the arguments about?
i glossed over the majority of that bmw forum as its a crap layout and hard to read.

Too much post to read to get a decent idea there matt, can you get it dyno'd somewhere else?
agee with fuz about the figs but your graph does show 340 odd so even with a bit of mis read on the dyno you would still be in that ball park, surely you cant argue with that?
your not getting much of a chance though mate....

Thanks this is wat its about, I posted the graph showing 345, 260 at the wheels, in 4 th gear.
So they said that 17% loss is accurate, gives me 307bhp from the wheel figure. So they loughed.
So they said it shud be run in 5th, even though they didnt no it wud hit the speed limiter, giving 240 at the wheels in 5th, so if you use there calculation that gives me a 280bhp evo.
Ime gettin abused no lol, with personel insults.
Thanks guys.

even using there calculation of 280 at the wheels thatll still only give you around 322 at the fly with roughly 15% transmission losses?

my e36 m3 3.0 was run up recently in 5th on rollers and did 317 bhp with 345 nm torque.
mine had some porting of the head, hand built free flowing exhaust/manifold and good incudction kit and chip.
but my car is a track car stripped out-used to piss all over all other e36 m3's on track though on both corners and straights-until the bottom end let go!
your flyheel figure seems high, but who knows?
ive just sold an evo 3.2 that did 320bhp on rollers with a remap-rest was standard.

dont really know as it happened at about 120 mph and it was carnage!
i think a big end bolt has either come out or snapped which ended up with the big end cap through sump, piston in pieces and rod through side of block! looks good, but boy did it piss me off....

so the operators calculation is wrong. how do they go about calculating? is it built into the program theyre using ? or will the operator input himself to get the flywheel figure?

So you have massive transmission losses (which is BS), yet you are telling us it really does feel like it has 350 odd?
Yet all that's getting to the wheels is 260 - fact.
So basically, you are chatting complete shit.
Don't know if this is an attempted wind-up or something, doubt it as there's nothing to argue here, its fact vs fiction!
