a car that doesn't run management? The car in question is a Xr3i on k-jet. I imagine it could be bodged quite easily but if i can do it, i want to get it fitted properly with some form of managed control over it!

iirc the k jet system you can just pump n2o into it and it will put the correct amount of fuel in to it, was a long time ago i read it though

With a "wet" nitrous system yes, as the nitrous / fuel ratio is determined by the jets in the fogger nozzle, if it was found to be running rich when on nitrous then you could use a smaller fuel jet to get the correct ratio.

N2O can be used perfectly well on any internal combustion engine, including diesels and 2 strokes with or without management.
Trevor Langfield (highpower) still holds certain world records for cars/bikes running his systems.
I can remember one and that is a Rover sd1(V8) that went from 19.7 1/4 to 13.7 1/4 with one of his kits, was absolutely std in everyway(bar the N2O).
