Cool car. VERY well driven as well
You mix it up with cars FAR FAR slower in a straight line in that Neeesan!
I seem to do the opposite in the Westy
talking of the Westy. You should have a go of it next time we are at track together. Properly goes now at 2.2bar boost!
330mm AP's could be over kill brake wise though. Do you have much fade? MUCHO cheaper calipers and options out there mate.

Everyone in our local group seem amazed at the punishment it can take, plus its as good as gold mechanically as well (plus its bog standard)
As for the brakes, my biggest single problem with the car is sourcing uprated parts for it, specifically brake bits. Ive been running Mintex M1155 pads (custom made by mintex.. hence NOT cheap) and getting 2-3 days out of them, albeit with no fade or wobble etc etc.
Ive done an interim upgrade to 285mm discs and bigger calipers off a later GT, again using M1155's so will see how i get on. The reason for the thinking behind the AP's, is the fact that i'll always get decent money for them, should i break the car, plus the pad choice would be endless, ie Pagid, ferodo DS3000's etc etc.
Give me a shout at the next day any you can jump in... if nothing else its a good laugh for a shitter!

how much would the pads be for the AP's though if we are talking about service life
ive got mintex 1155's and have done 20 laps of the ring and driven like a cunt at most times and theres loads of meat left on them, think there about 130 quid a set of pads too
if you was to do alot of track days speak to performance friction about buying a set of 10 custom made and get a discount on them, alot of the 1155's are made to order and almost all fo the 1166's are made to order also with a 6 week lead time,,, just down to costs compared to storing on the shelf,,, some cataletic converters are made to order just they dont tell there customers, they take a order and make them up with the jigsaw of spares that generally hanging about

The nissan is a heavy car, and i am very very hard on the brakes, so i'd imagine if i got 6 full days out of a set i'd be doing well, plus on longer harder tracks like Spa, the brakes do take a hell of a beating.
I am looking at alternative calipers such as brembo etc etc, but in the back of my mind, ive used AP in the past and been really pleased with them.

hey im not trying to tell you what to do, just passing other ideas past you incase you never thought about em, i sell porsche pads for 997's in textar for 60 quid, landrover for almost the same caliper cost 96 quid even though they fitment apart from the sensor clips, remember people saying 200 quid a set of pads for AP's, was thinking spending all that on AP's then even more per set of pads could sort of be a false economy as such

maybe next year for this one
should get a few trackdays in with this though, hopfully with a slightly fruitier engine spec than the standard 1400 , although it will be staying 1.4...
suprisingly capable on track for a gravel spec rally car
