Default 2 cossie engine questions...

just stripped my engine and am wondering about a couple of things,

1st is the flywheel, now being a novice to taking apart cossie engines i'm wondering if my flywheel is standard? it's so clean i don't see how it can possibly be the one thats been on there for the last 19 years and the finish to it seems so well machined. could be this is how they all are but i'm used to big ugly commercial stuff thats rough as!

2nd is cylinder head thickness, measured it at the back of the head with a vernier and i'm getting a reading of 139.62mm which from what i've read is a decent thickness? is that factory standard?

cheers
john

flywheel looks standard mate, as for head thickness that sounds pretty good.

The std 2wd flywheel is 8.7KG, I've just had one lightened/balanced down to 6.6KG, so a useful amount for around £50.
