Just had an offer accepted on my first house!

Just had an offer accepted on my first house!
soo excited, had to tell someone, and not telling friends until contracts are signed,
BUT today me and my girlfriend had an offer accepted on our first house!
ball is rolling with the mortgage now, seeing the advisor in the morning to do the full application!
3 bed semi in a nice area, comes with all appliances as well due to the vendor moving in with his future wife and not wanting to take anything with him!!
hopefully move in in 6-8 weeks, hopefully sooner as there is no chain at all!
it was up at 135k, agreed on 115500!

Well kinda 
Nearly done now though 
Just got to wait for Kitchen to come on April 30th, as last major thing for now as my money has run out. Was supposed to incorperate out-house type thing into kitchen but run out of money so that will be happening next year.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Congratulations mate. My wife and I bought a run down house 3 years ago before we were married and completely gutted it out, new wiring, plumbing and plastering etc. Only moved in a few months ago, feels brilliant. Good luck to you both.

Well done mate, just keep on at the solicitors, it drags on a bit, but the agents will be keep to get the deal done and sounds like the sellers will be too.
I did it without a chain in 8 weeks, could have been quicker but we dragged our feet a little, then had to kick the solicitors up the rectum towards the end.
Nothing better than when you have got everything in, sit down on the sofa and enjoy that first beer with your feet up in your own gaff!!

I know how you feel mate, Had mine accepted in january, The worst bit is waiting for the morgauge, There really picky and want to know exactly where you savings have come from due to anti money laundering. Hopefully i will get the offer of morgauage this week.
Good luck, I would get a full survey done not just the homebuyers survey if u can afford it, Much more comprehensive

no, the one we offered 152k on he wanted 155k for it.
this one was up for 175k,got em to accept 167k, but since got another grand off cos a few issues with the house. so 166k.
our budget was 155k lol
still, this house is in purton, 5 mins walk from the missus work, and far far nicer area, and far nicer house.
it ALL needs totally redecorating tho lol

just finding my feet
im about to start renting a double garage for my car for almost what i pay my morgage for a month !!
i would buy a garage if i could find one forsale

Congrats mate but save the celebrations till its deff done and dusted!!
The gf and i had an offer accepted on a bungalow that was a mess but had a 20ft x 30ft domed steel garage!! u could litrally fit 4 cars in it lol, so was perfect for me 2 spray in etc and make some money out of work, offer was accepted, morgage was sorted and a FULL structual survey done etc so was waiting and waiting and waiting for their solicitor to do the paper work etc and it ended up getting reposessed at the last minute
Pissed off to say the least!! but found out that they owed basically in debts what we were paying for the house and wanted 2 get repossed.
Now dont have a garage and its an end of terrace house not semi detatched bungalow, tbh 2yrs down the line dont really like where i live but will have to do till the prices pick up again
