Default Two weeks today clocks go forward :)
At last !!!!

At 1am on Sunday 29th March we gain an extra hour of daylight in the evenings - yay !!!

Quite WHY we move the clocks back I've never understood and there seems to be no logical reason for it, but hey-ho does anyone know why we still insist on this archaic practice ?

Yeah, I worked that one out........that's why they go forward. What I asked is why they go back so we loose an hour over the winter !

We don't , British Summer Time (BST) is +1 hr from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The idea being that during the war, farmers and workers would get more time in the fields to grow and process crops. The clocks revert back to GMT during the winter as daylight was no longer needed as the harvest had been completed by then.

Dreading it! I can't get myself out of bed at 6:30 as it is now, let alone when the clocks go back when my body will think it's 5:30!!!!
