ford fiesta xr2i h reg tax and mot till may 145thousand miles bit steep but i can do head gaskets etc so its fine needs a bit of tlc on the body work but other than that for 180quid its a bargin!

plans are
strip most the interior out
roll cage
some white 5 spokes
3 inch straight through stainless steel pipe with scorpion back box
respray on few parts
few polished bits on the engine
some 5 spoke wheels or multispoke havent decided yet
bigger discs n calipers
coilovers
and few more

first question is do you think its worth repairing the rear quater pannel or is it just easier to buy a new one i dont mind repairing it but would prefer someone elses opinion

Personally, id get a new rear quarter, as that does look quite far gone!

But good luck with your project! You should start a thread in the restorations room to keep us all updated!

thanks for all the replys guys im glad your agreeing with me unlike my dad lol she'll be a minter when shes finished im doing my crash corse in may and hopefully if some of you attend fordfair she will be going on the track and doing a few track days in her does anyone no any other ideas i could do to make her a little faster minus a turbo for the moment ?

Depends whether is just surface rust bubbled up or really rotten on the arch, if rotten then will need cutting out but from memory u can get a replacement section for the petrol cap area rather than a whole quarter?!! but depends if its just there or the arch too.

Agree with MAL thou get it checked ALL over as their prone to being rust buckets!!! and urs is showing signs, i bought a modded 2i off someone i knew, decided to do a colour change on it and went to take the kit off, the rear arches literally came off with the kit and turned out the rear end of the sills were fucked so had plates welded in to make it look better and gave it a full respray did it myself so just cost paint) but as years went on more rot set in and took it off the road in the end, still on my drive rusting away shame really as too look at it still looks 'clean' well till u look at the sills and underneath
