First things first.

Have you tried turning the phone off, removing the battery, and take out the sim car, give it a little blow and rub the card abit incase theres any dust on it, replace it all and turn it back on?

How old is the phone? ive had a quick search on a N95/6 forum that im a member of and it looks like you might have a worn ribbon cable, which is why theres no display.

Not 100% sure but from what i searched on the site it sounds like the same issue you have.

If you want to have a better look yourself, or even register to the site http://www.n95users.com/forum/ and make a post, their very knowledgeable

What is wrong with that, if you can solve problems for free rather than take it somewhere and get your pants pulled down?

I think its sounding like a hardware problem though unfortunatly plus it will be abit hard reinstalling software if you cant see the screen.

Id ring your service provider and see what they say, they should fix it for nothing
