went to donnington yesterday to meet a guy who drove all the way from spain to have a look at my car he wanted a track sierra to turn into a fully blown grp B rally car ,i took him for a few laps round donno then he asked if he could have a go ,he took off down the pit lane sideways side stepping the clutch 5000rpm foot on the brake then just let it go it must have looked good from the garages, turns out he is a spanish clubman rally driver with years of experience of sierras ,he knew how to drive as well ,i was glad it was raining or the road tyres would have been shagged after 2 laps ,all he did down craner was brake hard to unsettle the car and full side on both ways same again into coppice when the session was finished ryan the one of the instructers stopped us in the pitlane for a chat ,i thought it was for the side ways action ,but he was just curious ,wanted to know who was driving and if everything was ok ,well he liked the car and he paid in english cash,so it was on the trailer and gone felt a bit down last night after it went, but i will look to the future now ,cosworths are not the only cars out there ,i know that there isint much to catch the in a race if they are prepared right ,but ive been, doing track days for the last 10 yrs and owned cosworhts for the last 14 yrs so its time for a change i will sit on the money until the spring and see if anything takes my fancy ,what ever it is it mus be up to track days

there will be something else in the new year gus maybe not a cossie but it will be a good track car ,probley with a 6 speed sequential box

rsjp dont worry john mines having a 6 speed sequential for its 20th bday
mines just coming together after 4 years there is no way i could sell it now owes me Ł48,000 i should have kept the rs4 instead

my total in the last 5yrs spent on cars is Ł175k on cars,
Ł14k on motorbikes .sod it ur only here once

just ordered me a new GXSR 750 R K5 today roll on april

your right there steve your only here once ,but when you earn 200k a year like yourself you can afford it ,well ive still got my old motorbike to play on ,again cant afford a new one you must be robbing banks in your spare time
