how u getting on with this maria?
i've been going every day for the past few weeks and im feeling GREAT!
my manboobs have shrunk loads and for the first time in my life i can actually see a muscle in my arm
in a few months i recon i'll actually look good naked

Jim - its ok, i do 'feel' a little bit better in myself, and i know my fitness in obviously improving as i can now do 9 minutes on all the machine as opposed to 3! But i cant see any improvement in my shape at all!

Don't be expecting to see noticeable improvements straight away Maria. A lot of people think by spending a few months in the gym they will have fantastic rippling 6-pacs, fantastic arms etc etc. For burning fat, it isn't exactly the same as you can often see improvements a lot faster but just don't be expecting too much. Work hard and the gains will come in good time

ill never forget when i couldnt run for a minute,, couldnt row for 90 seconds and couldnt cycle for 5 mins
now i can run but get bored easy so need a ipod, but the max you can run on the machines at my gym is 20mins then it cools down,,, rowing i can do for 13mins,,which is good IMO as thats REALLY boring and cycling i can do for 15
i also now can do 10 lengths of the pool before a break then another,,,, then a longer break (in the spa) and then another too
though i aint been for a few weeks again

My problem is FOOD! I constantly want to eat!
I would eat all day every day if i could!
I have GENUINELY tried to cut down on what i eat, AND eat healthier... my diet NOW is a million times better than what is was 6 weeks ago!

Its very hard to be "good" when you love food soooo much and I never seem to feel full.
A little trick ive learnt is to drink lots, have a pint of water with dinner, fills u up so you dont eat as much.

The best way of telling if you're drinking enough is the colour of your pee. Apart from the first pee of the day it should be pretty much clear. If it's bright yellow in the afternoon then you're dehydrated.

But like you say, my pee isnt ever really that yellow or smelly... so looking at it, its saying i drink enough... but i know i dont!
