Stupid question about Saff rear lights...
This probably sounds stupid to a lot of you (I think it is too) but what light comes on when you turn the Saff rear fogs on?
The one I would expect to is used as a brake light... (inner most lights)
I only ask cos I have seen the fog used as a brake light on the Mk4 Escorts and I'm probably going to do it, but was just wondering how its done on the Saffs...

the tail light is fitted with a twin fillament bulb and that doubles up as the fog light.
I did this on my RST just open up the connector and swap the pins over - piss easy

so pretty much just swapping the connections over then, I'll be doing that as soon as I've got the car back then
Always think its better to have the brake and tail lights seperate

yup. The connector plug that plugs onto the bulb rail can be opened from the back, this reveals all the connectors and allows u to remove them (need a small screwdriver or pliers to get em out) then all u gotta do is work out which wire goes live when u press the brakes and which wire goes live when u turn the fogs on and swap them over.

excellent cheers bud, I've had a quick look before and it seems easy enough to trace them on the metal tracks, all I'm missing now is my car lol
