Fooking police stations......
Whats the point?
I try to be all good and respoible, didn't aregue when I got a producer for being involved in a crash I didn't cause, go out of my way on my day off to go the poxy police station with said producer at half 1 today. To find a note on door "CLOSED FOR LUCH BETWEEN 1 & 2 PM" FFS I thought, went and had a pint next door, go back at ten past 2 (bearing in mind my parking ticket was due to run out at 13:56 and I had no change left
)
And still closed, so I look round the corner and another sign says "CLOSED MONDAYS"
FFS!
Whats the point of having a police station if it's closed half the fecking time?!?!?!
Great, your a young girl out shopping, you get dragged into a side street, raped, beaten, you phone stolen so you go to the police station and it's fucking closed cos a) they are at lunch or b) it's Monday "Oh well" you think "Never mind, I'll just report it 2morrow"

I can beat that...
One of my brother's flatmates, when in Uni, had his car nicked from outside of his house. So, he walks to the copshop round the corner (which was actually open), and tried to file a report for his missing car. The reaction from the "officer" behind the desk?
"Sorry mate, we don't deal with crime here..."
Cue a puzzled look from my brother's flatmate, only for him to add "We only deal with truancy in this station, you'll need to go to <x> station to report a crime".

That's nothing....got my fiesta in a prang in Bognor only minor but when I got back to Kent I tried to report to my local station, as told, and they said I'd have to go back to Bognor...2hrs driving for a prang which wasn't my fault I think not!!!

I live in the town of Waltham Abbey. And the police station I went to had a sign out front saying "Waltham Abbey Police Station" then underneath it said "Essex Police - protect and serve, blah blah blah"
I could have gone to Loughton, but thats 5 miles away, my van is fooked and illegal as it has busted lights and indicators and I really needed a shit So I didn't

It's like that here too. Local station is closed at night and weekends.
In your case Thrush I'd be sorely tempted to write them a letter saying you turned up but they were closed and they can come round to yours instead LOL.
I might refuse to stop for local panda cars now and say I only get caught by traffic police.
