The car in question is just a little run around but the seats are so unconfortable its stupid !! so i want as less hassle as poss just wanted to know if its just a case of swapping the runners over and thats it

No because they mount to the inside of the seats on the side not at the base

I know this is very old but just answering so there's info for anyone looking.... Escort RS2k recaro seats bolt straight in with mk3.5 fiesta top hats. Runners are a perfect fit.
