BMW 335i M-Sport (Twin Turbo Petrol)
Basic Stage 1 Upgrades & Re-Map
Uprated Brake Kit
Quaife LSD

From what I've read, the engine in the 335i is extremely responsive to basic mods and you'll see 400+ from basic upgrades... in fact, a guy over on Scoobynet has a 335i Touring and has the AP Brakes and Quaife Diff and seriously rates it. He's had an RS6 an E39 M5 before and I'm sure that he said the 335i is the best all rounder he's had now he's upgraded it.

I'm sure if you YouTube it then there are various videos of these cars in action as well.

Cheers,
Grant

That is fucking.............. hideous.

Oh and Scott,

Drive the cars, I would probably take an RS4 over most things, they are not boring, they sound glorious and are very useable, but I have a dog and off road bikes to tow. If that wasn't a consideration at all I would be in a Porsche, probably a GT3 though over a Turbo if it was just a toy.

The turbo is phenomenal but the noise and feeling of a high revving flat 6 is great for me. My foreman at work thought I was an idiot, until he drove a GT3 hahaha

A nice RS4 Avant in black would be my choice, and despite whats been said earlier in this thread you can get a nice Audi RS4 circa 2006 for £28k, plenty of them on pistonheads for starters.

What you doing with your A4 tdi Scott?

Not saying that anyone would give me £25k for mine but think i'd get £20k easy enough at this moment in time............price will go back up the longer I keep her though.

Love the look of the RS4 over the M5 etc but there is just something appealing about owning a car like the M5 that can piss on most supercars! There's also the thought of owning a 911 Turbo that I can't get out of my head too.

Just gonna stick on a set of 19" RS6 alloys and chip it mate cause it's got the full S-line kit and full black leather etc etc so pretty much sorted really......oh and it also has the fridge in the glovebox too, LOL.

Spec has changed a little since then mate, she should be running 420BHP ish with new turbo fitted etc. She has had 2 full restoration rebuilds since i've owned her including underneath. Every nut, bolt and washer has been replaced with polished stainless steel etc, all Painted and powder coated, huge brakes, new wheels etc etc etc.

I got offered £30k for her about 18 months ago and turned it down

couple of pictures Claire took in this thread and she's still to finish.

Sounds lovely

im not sure what to do, i really liked the idea of the Autovogue but not sure the rear bumper looks a bit chav with that bib on, single exhaust on the left and mesh on the gole on the right

jabbasport do a nice custom remap for them, take the 140bhp/236lbft model up to 180-186bhp/315-320lbft for 420 quid

Got to be the 911 Turbo.

Granted the M5 is a mover but the 911 will remap nicely and it looks a bit more special than a hot reps car!

if you want a sports car you can drive hard and not worry about then the best porsche you can get for your £25k...........there is no comaprison between a bespoke sports car chassis and a very very fast saloon car.

It depends what you want really
