Default What car would you buy for approx £25k

I've been thinking about the future and what I would buy if or when I sell my escos. Now my car is around 400-420 BHP so would obviously want something with similar power etc.

Things I've been looking at are.........

1) Modded Evo 9's are about £20k but they'll devalue like fook.
2) Porsche 911 (996) Turbo's can be had for around £25k now.
3) Audi RS4's for around £28k
4) Surprisingly, the E60 M5's are similar money!! Supercar performance for good money!!

What else really? Subaru? R34GTR?

If I had a spare £25K in cash to blow on a car I would go for the E60 M5 out of that lot.

Ive been in both mate and for the feeling of power there is no comparison...

When the M5 button is pressed it is a complete transformation...

I have only driven an RS4 cabriolet and it felt slow and boring...

Far too safe for me. 4wd was amazing but just does not push you like the M5 does....

The rs4 is not a patch on it IMO

Were them teste by the same driver because it seems that the m5 is a fair bit quicker in a strieght line...

Scott,

all depends what you want the car for, you don't want a big spec evo to take the family out etc...porshe too small for family aswell.

do you want a family friendly car or a sports car or both.

have to think what you really want it for tbh.

No just new it would be high mileage for the year, or crap spec which your examples were, its just like going for the cheapest at every car doesnt always work out to be the bargain you thought, i would never go for the cheapest as i like very low mileage cars but everyone is different, they soon get up over 29k there is only a handfull on autotrader

thats what i would get, or add a little moree and get the gt 500 kr

dont bother with the r34gtr, really not all there cracked up be, i had a go in a abbey motorsport 440bhp conversion and it was boring, i was really disapointed considering all the hipe of them, maybe better if it had a single turbo i duno, but it was too smooth and just felt slow

Quick Reply: What car would you buy for approx £25k
