i was thinking of at some point making some perspex windows but was wondering if theres and particular reason why iv seen alot of people screwing them to the car instead of using the window rubbers? cheers

so they wont blow out with flex in them etc if i just used the rubbers as i'd want it looking smart still and subtle?

 

i put mine in with the rubbers as i wanted the standard look

if your having carbon inner door cards (like you mentioned on another thread)
use 2 outer weather strips at the bottom of each door

One of my friends is having some custom made for his clio, the bloke does them on site apparantely. I can get his details for you if you want?

the rubbers were quite hard to get if i remeber right

i tracked some down from ford parts uk and some from ebay
so prices were a bit veried

looks standard mate, other than the scrathes that i have on them already

 

 

the main reason 4 bolting perspex windows in is because they have taken out the window windersto save on weight & strength

 

dont use perspex it cracks, you nee polycarbonate.

 

if anyone has any ideas how much they are could they please out it up? cheers

i got mine from plastic 4 performance, cost me 180 sheets (4 sides and a rear)

 

i think mine were about £150 from airedale race components,2 side and 1 rear
