What gigs did you do in 08?
Just wondering what gigs people have done this year and what they thought of them while im feeling a bit hung over and cant sleep lol.
Done a few this year but not as many as usual
Ones i can remeber are-
Ginger - Great acoustical gig and banter from Ginger and the audience made the night.
Smashing Pumpkins - Was just ok and Billy decided to walk off stage half way through and finish the gig early the grumpy cunt
Megadeth - Wasnt sure what to make of the new line up but that was one of the best gigs i've seen them play
Jason and the Scorchers - One of the best gigs i've ever been too,Who said Counrty music cant rock
Sex Pistols - Small warm up gig for the festivals and it was fecking hot and mental in the place
Sign - Fantastic warm up gig for the Downlaod festival
Metallica - Fantastic as usual and only cost a fiver a ticket
The Wildhearts - One off gig where they played their first album in its whole along with all the b-sides and was filmed for dvd
The Wildhearts - Cant remember much due to too many aftershocks
Roll on 09 where i already have 2 Metallica gigs and Katy Perry booked

little man tate -roadhouse
stereophonics - blackburn
wombats -echo arena
fratellis -53 degrees preston
kooks -empress ball room blackpool
all very good right at the front crash barrier jobs
echo arena one tainted a bit by pick pockets
plus more that i cant remember
got a few for next year booked oasis the view few others

Kendal Calling - Kendal, Cumbria
Leeds Festival - Leeds !!
Not that many this year really, might have been a couple more ? can't mind on !! last couple of years have been about 10 - 12, used to try and get in about 1 a month.
Probly try and sort some tickets for Prodigy and Metallic at Newcastle early next year, will definatly be doing Kendal Calling and Leeds Festival again tho, maybe Glasto as well ? see what the line ups like.
