Very similar to the basic shape of the one on my nova (RS200 one) and that seems to work well.

With fluid dynamics though you need to be careful on angles, if the angle at the top by the throttle body is too great (IMHO it is on those pictures) then it will cause turbulance I believe.

You need to talk to an expert on the subject really, or better still do some trial and error.

On my rs200 one, the angle looks very steep but the reality is if you look close enough that its a curve not a straight edge, this is what I therefore think that you should do with yours, curve the two sides where they join the TB

Here is mine:

Oops, just noticed this thread had a page 2 that I hadnt seen when replying to your original post and someone has already mentioned the RS200 plenum, apologies for the respost.

I said it wouldnt be possible to just bolt an rs200 one up to a cossie inlet manifold in a cossie engine bay as it would poke out the bonnet, I wasnt saying that an altered version of one couldnt work.

i'm hoping to have the intake pipe sweep round from the side of the intercooler to the T/b in one nice sweeping bend?

Sorry mate, I obviously explained that badly, I mean that after the TB (ie inside the plenum) it would be good to use a curved edge to the sides, rather than a angle, cant see enough on your pics to see if you have radiused it or not?

yeah think i know what you mean,, the flange that the T/b bolts to will have a radius to the inside rather than just a large drilled hole?

Not on the flange itself, where the flange joins the plenum body I mean, as per the pic up above where i have highlighted it.

I would have though the standard YB trumpets on the inlet manifold would be ideal mate if you mean at that end

If you mean about making it trumpet style in terms of how it flares out from the TB, then yes that should be a good solution.

You just need something to manage that initial transition as it enters the plenum
