i've been thinking of getting my nephew one for Christmas, i've been offered a couple but the prices are all over the place
i know theres a few different version & how many games/controllers etc will affect prices but what would be an average price for a white version with hard drive, controllers & maybe a few games?

i got 130 for mine with 2 wireless controllers, 20gb hdd, Xclamp mod, 7 games.

all original boxes and manuals etc

mate of mine sold his for in excess of 180 quid. It was like new with about 8 games though.

Remember older XB360's do develope faults! Ive not heard new ones have as many problems, but atleast if you buy new you get 12mts warranty.

The £129.99 XB360 console is the Arcade which only comes with 512MB memory card. Its cheap because its a basic system. The one you want is the 60GB console as it apparently has the HD DVD Drive built in, big enough memory card, etc.

Im getting my son a 20GB console with 6mts warranty for £103. If it goes wrong then I take it back and get another console

wrong you get 36 months warranty mate ,i had a flashed one that fvcked up ,still sent it back they sent me a replacment with another 36 month warranty,only problem was i had to re-flash it,still backup games for 30p a shot does me fine,and you can still play live

Wrong, you get 3 years warranty for the rings of death, nothing else AFAIK. It costs £75 to repair most things (Standard charge I think).

Microsoft (XBOX) get so many returned faulty they repair them and send them back to the customer to replace their faulty one. Its easier they repairing the one sent to save time. I know people who had sent their console to Microsoft for repair and the new console they replaced it with went wrong within 2 weeks and needed replacing!
