My first rs update 16/12/08
hi thaught i'd show you all my new frst got it 2 days ago for 1500 it has got 76k on the clock and hat had a fresh coat of paint its pretty standard apard from dv and samcos 
but it had a slight knock when reved so the engines coming out and the bottem end it getting rebuilt
also found this when i was taking it apart
i think it has only just been rebuilt because there is no play in the shaft

I loved my FRST, J722VVX , Little bit on the heavy side when it comes to the steering but other than that fantastic. Take that dump valve off and let it chatter.

Looks like my old one, my first one too at 18
T2 packed in as soon as i got it i remember, beige injectors, new turbo, chip, uprated pump and big filter, boy did that little car sound good!!
loved that little thing, but the dreaded rust was eating the underneath

heres a few more pictures of what got done today
started talking the bottem end apart and the crank out
sent the crank of to get regrind and a full set of bearings new piston rings bolts and gaskets should be back thursday
hears the old engine mount
and a nice new one from ford
thats it for now but will keep you updated
