Hmmmm, I will reserve judgement til the new one is actually out.... but IMO its gonna have to be pretty special to support the comment that the Mk1 isnt a patch on it and command 7k+ over the Mk1 RS price.

Grant

LMAO

I like to leave sound systems standard just change the speakers. I tend to crank up the metal in my car to scare the shit out of Southall Broadway lol So how much extra is the full leather option?

Yes, I look forward to all the new owners giving us some proper info on what the new RS is like to live with... rather than just having to go on the magazine reports and road tests.

Cheers,
Grant

..................still not convinced me to part with £27,000+ mate. If I wanted a car to go quickly around a track, then I'd buy a proper track-biased car.

the mk1 doesnt have the same power though end of was made with 212bhp, thnis is 300bhp,

people aren't buying it just for a track car there buying it for a great all rounder.. and im not sayin they will 100% deffo hit the 8min 15sec time round the ring that there hoping for but anywhere near that is very respectable imo for a FWD hot hatch

but feel free to keep slagging it cause the FACT is you wont find a better hot hatch

Mate i respect the car and i'm not slagging it off and i will buy one but not at that price. It'll be a fantastic car i'm sure but 30K? Ford are trying to bend everyone over for a Badge.

+ im sure that they could have made that car 4wd and got 30k for it then i would understand only then i would see the car justify its price tag!!!
