take it that doesn't include fuel or food or ring laps?
cost me 300quid in fuel just doing the ring, let alone switzerland and austria.
15 laps of the ring is about 240quid as well.

But I won't be hammering the Ring like usual, especially with the distances I need to drive afterwards. More interested in the Passes of Switzerland Personally, I think it worked out very cheaply
We considered it, as well as several other weekends, but seeing the snow there in April 2008 we decided we can't chance it.
Last year we got really lucky - mid May was awesome. Almost (but not quite!) too hot!
Hoping for the same again

We've got Chip, myself, Nigel (Sketch) and Louise, Dave and Helen Yum, and Mad Evo 4 (Lawrie) going in our little party.
We were hoping nice peeps such as yourself and significantly better other half (sorry, her name escapes me!) and Ginge / Jim, Cossie Rich etc would all be able to join us!
Can you prebook sick leave? I think you have flu that week

Nope!
We're at our usual Edgars place in Herschbroich. I'm sure all the hotels have their different merits, but Edgars just has the right feel to it.
Are you able to make it along on the same dates? I could add you to our hotel booking and do the ferry bookings as well if you wanted.
Trying to get a little "group" feel going for this trip.

I'm sure your lighweight monster power car will fly over there!
Saying all that, I don't know what your other car is! What else have you bought then?
I'd take the fun car, whichever is the biggest blast on track - take that.
Take the 205 for sure! My brother's went round silly quick for such an ordinary / mild spec car.

Want me to book a room in the hotel with us lot for you? I've finally had confirmation the hotel has plenty of rooms, and have provisionally booked a load for us.
Happy to add you and yours to the list.
Anyone else coming with our crowd I'll PM you on Sunday (off to climb Snowdon shortly, so need to get off here!)

Si, i've got 15-20 off, but can move that around a little no prob if needed. It all depends on ferries etc. I'd really prefer not to drive to Dover as it is such a boring drive. Hull is an hour and a half away, and you get a decent nights sleep, and are at the ring for lunch. Depends on if any other cars join me in the North.
What are your planned movements, ie when are your crossings? Thurs morning, thurs night?
Rick.
