some stupid ass boy racer took off the airbox and put a huge cone filter on it so basicly theres no airbox and no air flow meter the lights on and it runs shite if ask me, pinks too, whats the matter with these fucking idiots these days????




anyways its a facelift 2002 1.6

seem to be a few airbox's on ebay complete with the airflow meter but do others fit? one said for focus up to 2001 my one cant be different surely? still the same blacktop engine.

1.4 and 1.6 engines are the same so it will fit.

 

thats what i was kinda hoping, spose its a risk wether the plugs etc the same ont he air mass but worth the gamble i spose

 

The later ones do not have air flow meters My old 1.6 did but that was a V reg, not too sure when the changeover was tho....

 

oooo better pop the bonnet and look for a plug then

 

my 52 reg has the airflow meter at the botom of intake pipe as it goes into the engine so all i would need is the box

 

yea maines the same just looked, thanks for clearing that up chaps, although now it means i need to code read it to find out why the lights on lol
